While we were in Prescott today, we stopped by one of our favorite art galleries, 'Tis, and lo and behold, they are hosting their annual 'Objects Found' exhibit. Debbie Thomas once again blew us away with her stunning rendition from the 'Wizard of Oz.' These pieces are crafted from found objects that the artist herself assembled. From inoperative gauges to a copper scouring pad (look closely at the Cowardly Lion), she creatively combined various everyday items. WOW, WOW, WOW! Debbie's 'Peter Pan' assemblage, along with other works, truly hit it out of the park! We own one of Debbie Thomas's 'objects found' pieces from years ago, and it's clear that her artwork is best appreciated in person.
